Mary says "I purchased My First Blankies yesterday and immediately made one for a baby shower I attended last night. I used fleece for one side and some very soft stretch satin for the other. I used the "Baby Girl" stitching on the satin side and added the baby's name in the Curlz font using Embird Font Engine. I also added extra ribbon tags. Everyone at the shower was oooing and ahhing!! Kathy says .. "Hi Carolynn, I just had to share this picture with you. My photography isn't great, but with much apprehension I stitched out your rick rack on a smocked top that I had already finished. I was so nervous that I would mess up and ruin the top. I'm thrilled to report that with your wonderful tutorial I was able to stitch this out successfully - even on this corduroy. I'm thrilled with the result. My camera was acting up and it looks as if the colors of the hand embroidered smocking and the machine embroidered rick rack don't match, but they really are a perfect match. :) Now I can't wait to stitch out more of this rick rack!"

Dee made MORE bags, and says "Instead of putting a loop on the two 6x10 ones, I added straps at that point and taped them to the inside. I restitched by backing up at the point where they were inserted. I think my two little granddaughters will love them." OH YEAH, your DGDs will LOVE those bags Dee!

Pam writes "I love-love-love your rick rack! I’ve used it several times, and it always stitches out so nicely. I recently made a small backpack (12” high by 10” wide) for my granddaughter to take to preschool. There is a 15” long zipper across the top, and I decided it would look much nicer if it were applied with red rick rack, instead of being inserted with one line of stitching as usual. Using my Bernina Mega Hoop, I duplicated the rick rack to make it long enough. It stitched out perfectly and makes a great accent, as you can see by the attached photos." Your backpack is beyond fabulous Pam ~ your DGD will LOVE it!
