OK, I admit that I am a very slow sewer .. and sewing a burp-cloth-from-a-diaper "the old fashioned way" takes me several hours!  Why so long, you ask???  Of course, my Zippy RikRak is REQUIRED {  } on both seams of the burps, and then the central embroidery design .. and sewing the fabric on the backside to cover the bobbin stitching .. WHEW!!  So, when I needed a bunch of burps, and they had to be done "yesterday", I got busy digitizing ...

This design process started back in February, when I was preparing for a conference, and I needed some samples ~ FAST!

EZPZ Burpies to the rescue!!

OOOh, this photo brings back such fond memories of time spent with ladies who enjoy stitching and designing, and laughing and having FUN!

I have to admit .. one of the BESTEST things about the EZPZ Burpies is the Zippy Rik Rak ~ it's all stitched by the embroidery machine ~ YAY!  And since you choose the thread color, your Zippy Rik Rak will match PERFECTLY, every time .. you are no longer limited to the Rick Rack color selection at the store!  The burpie's back side is fabric too, so you don't see the bobbin thread ~ and that makes it kinda  REVERSIBLE too!  Oh, this keeps getting better and BETTER!

** Answers to Frequently Asked EZPZ Burpie Questions **

 

1)  Yes, the burpie is done ITH (In-the-Hoop) - then you turn it inside out and stitch the "turning opening" closed!  It's EZPZ!

2)  Yes, the RikRak design is stitched on by the embroidery machine!  YAY! 

3)  Yes, the burpie uses fabrics of your choice (one "main" fabric", and one "center panel" fabric)

4)  No, a diaper is not used in any of the samples .. but you could use diaper material as the fabric if you want!   :)
